| I like your avatar  - however (sorry, im used to going to art forums hence spending a while telling people what the picture needs changed  ) I think in that image the main problem is the explosion, either it would look better without it, or you should fix it. Around the left hand side of the explosion it seems to randomly cut off. Make it sort of 'fade out' some more, and make sure it isnt cut off like that. Also the man being blown up is in a terribly un-dynamic pose, what you need to do is create some form of depth and maybe have some limbs closer or further away to the camera. I cant really explain dynamic figure drawing, its something you have to study. Instead of the explosion (which I do like as it adds a nice colour to the scene) you could possibly have some guy with his head flicked back as though he has just been shot, with blood and a helmet flying through the air. I could go on forever but ill just say one more thing - if you look to the right of his left thigh (our right) there is this sort of 'random flame' that looks as though its popping up out of nowhere.
